Behavior of an Ocelot
Ocelots are carnivores, so they hunt for their food. They are nocturnal, which means they sleep in the day and hunt in the night, so they use their night vision to hunt for their food. The ocelot is a member of the feline (cat) family, but they are especially good at swimming.
The ocelot is very territorial. They even fight to the death for the right of the territory. Mating for ocelots happen year round. When they give birth, they usually only conceive 2 to 4 kittens. After the male and female mate, they separate. The ocelot also calls and meows like a cat.
